Get ready to experience the heart of Old Town at this Opening Event!  Once you arrive, you will be greeted with sights, sounds and aromas of Albuquerque. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be provided.

You will be treated to a variety of cuisines, including famous New Mexican dishes and beverages being prepared from stations representing our Hispanic, Native American and Old West influences, while enjoying the authentic culture. Local entertainment will be offered representing the various cultures of Albuquerque and our state.

Continuous transportation will be provided from the Convention Center for all attendees from 6:45 pm – 10:00 pm.

Take advantage of this open night to experience the “Albuquerque Food Scene” with customers, colleagues and friends!  This the only open evening where there is not a planned conference event. Please note: SYTA does not coordinate the dine around evening.

Conference attendees will connect with each other either in advance or on-site and select a restaurant! You can plan ahead by visiting the Visit Albuquerque’s Dine Around Guide. Many of the restaurants are located in Albuquerque’s trendy neighborhoods and are a quick cab ride from the conference hotels.

For groups of 10 or more planning their evening, we recommend that you contact Sally Lane with Destination Southwest. Enjoy a Route 66 themed networking reception followed by the sounds of the SYTA Band.

Proceeds from this evening benefit the SYTA Youth Foundation. Registration includes two drink tickets, great food and amazing music. Tickets are available in advance or onsite at SYTA Central. New attendees will not want to miss this staple of the SYTA Annual Conference. Over 400 attendees dance their meal off year after year.

Shows currently scheduled to appear include: A Bronx Tale, Anastasia, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Once On This Island, School of Rock, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Band’s Visit, The Book of Mormon, The Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked.

During this Closing Night Celebration, we’ll bring a bit of Baltimore to Albuquerque with a 50’s themed event sure to knock your socks off!
